Description
The Optimum DM98V is a magnetic drilling machine for making holes in steel structures on site: beams, plates and trusses. The magnetic base holds the machine on the steel surface, so the part does not have to go to a stationary drill press. It takes core drills and twist drills and feeds coolant into the cutting zone.
Core drill diameter up to 98 mm, twist drill up to 28 mm, core drilling depth up to 75 mm. The 2.18 kW, 230 V motor gives 100-380 rpm with stepless control; spindle taper Weldon 3/4" plus MT 3. Magnetic holding force is 17 kN, weight 18.5 kg, supplied in a carry case. Suited to installation crews, construction firms and steel fabrication shops.
