## Description

The bench  metal drill press OPTIdrill D 23Pro (230 V) is a long-awaited new model of 2018. The popularity of the Optimum B23Pro drill press prompted the German manufacturer to release a popular drill press with a V-belt drive and an additional drilling depth limit function. The V-belt drive of the D 23Pro bench drill press uses quality GATES belts.
Technical description:
- The bench drill press Optimum OPTIdrill D 23Pro is an improved version of the popular Optimum B23Pro drill press.
- The drill press's aluminium pulleys, combined with a GATES cogged V-belt, transmit rotation from the motor shaft to the spindle shaft without large slip losses.
- A modern 0.75 kW motor is used in the design of the bench drill press OPTIdrill D 23Pro, power supply 220 V.
- When many identical holes have to be drilled, the drilling depth control function of the bench drill press Optimum D 23Pro is very convenient. The electronic scales are reset at any point when the operator presses the "zero" button.
- The bench drill press has a heavy, rigid and quite stable design. The cast base of the drill press keeps it stable during operation.
- The drill press work table moves easily along the column and is locked with a special handle. The table can be moved up/down the column and rotated 360° around the column of the bench drill press, and tilted 45° left/right.
- The table has diagonal T-slots (12 mm) and special channels for collecting and draining coolant.
- The V-belt drive of the drill press is enclosed by a guard fitted with a contactless sensor that prevents the motor from starting while the guard door is open.
- On the panel of the bench drill press there is a digital display showing the spindle speed and the hole drilling depth.
- The emergency stop button of the bench drill press is conveniently located on the control panel and is protected against dust and moisture (protection class IP 54).
- The spindle start button has undervoltage protection.
- For operator safety when working on the bench drill press, the control circuit operates at 24 V DC.
