## Description

Distar DDS-W Concrete Magnet segmented diamond core drills are designed for drilling blind holes for socket boxes in walls of brick, unreinforced and lightly reinforced concrete without coolant. The drills are made in diameters 68, 72, 82. They have an internal M16 mounting thread and come with a carbide centre drill and an M16/SDS Plus adapter (for fitting the drill in a rotary hammer chuck).
To increase drilling productivity and prevent dust when drilling holes, a special adapter supplying water to the working zone for effective slurry removal is recommended. 
Unlike core bits with carbide cutting elements, diamond core drills must never be used in hammer mode.
