- OPTIdrill RD 4 radial drill has a wide range of applications and is designed for drilling, counter-drilling and tapping.
- The RD 4 radial drill is fitted with a powerful 3 kW industrial motor.
- The heavy cast design of the drill provides high rigidity and therefore accuracy when drilling.
- The drill head is moved along the arm and locked in the required position.
- The radial drill has a convenient control panel.
- Open access to the workpiece from all sides.
- The cast arm is made of cast iron with stiffening ribs.
- The arm height on the OPTIdrill RD 4 radial drill is adjusted by a powerful electric motor and a worm gear.
- The arm raising and lowering sleeve runs in an oil bath.
- On the OPTIdrill RD 4 radial drill the arm guideways are properly hardened and precision ground.
- The mechanical gearbox is made of chrome-nickel steel, heat-treated and ground, for quiet and smooth operation.
- Separate clamping of the column and the drill unit on the arm.
- Forward and reverse spindle rotation.
- The coolant system is built into the base of the radial drill.
- The table has parallel T-slots.
- A machine lamp with a flexible swivel base is fitted.
