## Description

Precision rigid-clamping non-swivel machine vise with 160 mm jaw plate width and a maximum opening of 140 mm (with plates in the standard position), used for precision work on grinding and other machines.
Structurally, the tool consists of a pair of parallel jaws, one of which is fixed while the other is pressed against the part by a trapezoidal screw.
A needle bearing ensures smooth screw travel. This allows maximum clamping force to be achieved without much effort on the handle. Play of the movable jaw is adjusted with an adjusting screw at the rear of its body.The plates on the jaws are removable, which reduces the overall maintenance cost of the product and improves working efficiency. The vise base has mounting holes and slots for secure and accurate fastening to the machine table. If needed, the holes can be used to fit a swivel base (not included).

Vise operating principle :
When horizontal working pressure (clamping) is applied to the vise, a special element inside the movable jaw increases the force pressing the workpiece down onto the body. This keeps the vise from lifting the part and preserves the shape of its surface.
