## Description

The 5033A rammer is used to prepare standard specimens of core and molding mixtures and to determine the following properties:
- Compressive strength;
- Tensile strength;
- Friability;
- Compactability;
- Density;
- Flowability under static compaction;
- Tensile strength in the moisture condensation zone.
The 5033 A rammer is used in various research, factory and shop laboratories. The operating principle consists of compacting the mixture with 3 blows of a 6.35 kg weight dropped from a height of 50 mm.
APPEARANCE AND OPERATION
It resembles a laboratory microscope in appearance. The lower part of the laboratory rammer is made of metal. Above it is a long rod with a lever for lifting the weight. The rammer contains moving parts.
